How to Register To The Latin Podcast Awards Competion

How many podcasts can I submit?
You can submit as many podcasts as you create or collaborate on.

How many podcast episodes do I Summit?
At the registration we ask you to provide only one episode of your podcast (your best) which will be evaluated.

What does the registration fee qualify me for?
Payment only qualifies you to register for the one nomination. If you join through the International Academy Awards for Latino Podcast, you will enjoy of added benefits as they become available.

How do I know if my Podcast eligible to participate?
Your podcast should be available free or by subscription or available via download.
The content must be your owned intellectually property.
The nomination must include a link to the podcast page.
The podcast can be selected as a finalist in a maximum of one category, as well as the best podcasts in the country of origin (the country where the podcast is produced).
The podcast should be distributed originally as a podcast and not be the content of a television program, a radio program, a live event, etc.
Exception for podcasts created by radio and television and podcast networks: If a podcast is created by radio, television or a podcast network (commercial) for the sole purpose of being a podcast it may be considered for nomination.

Do I have to be present at the ceremony to win?

No. You do not need to be present at the awards ceremony to win, however, if you are selected as a finalist you will be asked to submit an audio or video acceptance speech of approximately one minute’s duration.

How do I sponsor the Latin Podcast Awards?

How do I become a judge for the Latin Podcast Awards?

Any member of the International Academy Awards for Latino Podcast maybe a judge upon request. Non – members may be considered upon request. Send an emial to: administrator@latinpodcastawards.com.

How are winners selected?

A panel independent podcasters (IP) will be assigned a category determining the finalists and the eventual winners. Each IP will score each podcast on a scale of 1 to 10 in the following categories:

Audio
Audio clarity, consistent audio levels,
Content
Originality of content and how unique is the content
Delivery
Consistent massage, Does it relate to you category , and time management of information.
Production
Edited or not. Is it put together well.
Articulation

Pitch variation, voice projection, Use of pauses, Sentence length variation, speed variation. and do you Portray confidence or self-assurance.

Latin Podcast Awards will compile votes from all IP’s, and the highest scored podcast from each category will be declared the winner. In the case where a specific country has numerous podcast submissions Latin Podcast awards will reserve to right to declare a winner per country when feasible, based on the above mentioned process.

The Latin Podcast Awards are divided into four categories: Location, Topic, Demographic, and New Podcasts. Also, the LPA are judged by a panel of veteran podcasts from around the world plus members of the LPA Academy Awards.

Note: subcategories winners will not receive a physical trophy; however, you may order a trophy for a separate fee.

Example: Category Business (Negocios), subcategory Marketing (mercadeo) will not receive a physical trophy. However, Business will receive a trophy for no extra fee.
