The mission of the Latin Podcast Awards (LPA) is to honor the Hispanic / Latino and Non-Latino podcaster.
We also celebrate the work of other Latino and non-Latino members of the podcasting community who have made a significant contribution to the Latinx podcasting industry.
The Latin Podcast Awards are a subsidiary of Audio Dice Network, LLC. (ADN),
The entry criteria to enter a podcast in the LPA, must meet the following criteria:
A. In order to participate, the production team must have someone of Latino descent or who is dedicated to a topic of interest to the Latino community.
B. To sign up we ask that you provide only one episode of your podcast (the best one) that will be evaluated. The episode will be requested as part of your registration. Note: Judges need access or audio (MP3) must be provided for judges.
C. The podcast can have an RSS feed. Note: The exceptions apply to podcasts from other social media, such as Facebook, YouTube and podcast for payment or corporate private among others.
D. Podcasts one year or less old at the time of entry will only compete in the “Revelation of the Year” category. Does this apply to podcasts created after July of the current year? Note: Podcasts less than one year old are not eligible to compete in some categories or the LPA of the year. Podcasts less than 1 year old only compete for “Revelation of the Year”. Podcasts less than 1 year old will compete for a limited categories and will not compete podcast of the year.
E. Podcast Categories: Availabilities are based on entries and are not guaranteed for nomination. In the event that there are not a minimum of two or more podcasts nominated for a category, we will close that category and the award will be declared void. The participant can choose between three options:
1. Do not compete in any other category. In this case, the registration fee will not be refunded.
2. Choose from an existing category.
3. The LPA team will choose the category of participation for you. Or you can decide not to participate by category but by Country or others.
F. The content must be your intellectual content and created by you. The podcast may be available for free, by subscription, or by payment.
G. Self-employment is allowed and encouraged.
H. Your favorite episode nomination should include the podcast page and link.
I. The podcast may be eligible as a finalist in numerous categories. The podcast will compete in the category of its home country (the country where the podcast is produced).
J. You can host as many podcasts as you like, this includes media or networking. Each with an individual registration and payment. For multiple registrations, feel free to contact the LPA team at Administrator@latinpodcastawards.com
K. The podcast must be originally distributed as a podcast, and not be the content of a television program, terrestrial radio program, live event, etc.
Note: Exception for radio and television programs: If the podcast is produced by a Radio, Television or Podcast Network exclusively as a podcast, it will be considered for nomination.
L. You must provide a complete entry, with your payment, a podcast logo (cover), and a winners acceptance speech; Failure to comply with these requirements will make your nomination non-compliant and your nomination may be disqualified or you will not receive a throphy, t-shirt ,and will have to pay a fee . Your registration fee is non-refundable Nomination fee The to obtain them.
Nomination fee is charged to defray the costs of the trophies and the production of the awards ceremony. It’s also to prevent trolling, spam, and frivolous podcast nominations that create problems for LPA staff and judges.
The payment only entitles you to register for the nomination. Now, once your nomination is accepted, it will be shared on social networks, there will be press releases, we will send you a (digital) nomination certificate that you can view and you will have access to a private group on Facebook with other nominees.
The International Academy of Latin Podcast Awards reserves the right of nominations and all decisions are final.
Note: You do not need to be present at the awards ceremony to win. If your podcast is submitted and does not meet the minimum requirements, it will not be nominated and its fees are non-refundable.
Selection criteria, categories and process.
The nomination categories are in accordance with the Itunes podcast categories. This should be your primary or secondary iTunes category.
If you select your sub-category, your selection may be shifted to the primary category based on participation levels. See: https: latinpodcastawards.com/faq.
There are other categories such as countries, international, multinational, bilingual, only in English, popular vote and revelation.
3. Categories.
Each IP will rate each podcast on a scale of one to ten on the following criteria:
● Audio. Audio clarity, consistent audio levels,
● Content. The originality of the content and the uniqueness of the content
● Delivery. A consistent message and information time management. It is related to its category.
● Production. Edited or not. How well it is mounted.
● Articulation. Variation of pitch, projection of voice, use of pauses, variation of phrase length, variation of speed, and if it portrays confidence or self-assurance.
Evaluation process
The LPA will collect the votes of all the judges. The podcast with the highest score in each category will be declared the winner. In the event of a tie, LPA will use your podcast page rating as a tiebreaker, on a scale of one to three, with three being the best.
Restrictions In the event that a specific country has numerous podcast submissions, the LPA will reserve the right to declare one winner per country when feasible, based on the aforementioned process.
LPA ceremony
1. The Awards Ceremony- LPA winners will be presented during an awards ceremony produced on video and / or audio and broadcast over the Internet (OTT).
Winners will have to provide an acceptance speech during the ceremony via video or audio no longer than 30 seconds. The podcasts of the finalists and all the nominees will be shown. 2. Awards.
The Latin Podcast Award winners will receive a trophy (awards). Awards can be sent to an LPA ambassador in your country for distribution. It can be shipped to his address in the US mail, and you have the option of picking it up in person at Audio Dice Network studios in the US.

Disclaimer:
The Organiser reserves the right to reject any entry that it deems inappropriate, and to remove – at any point – any entry from consideration that may be deemed discriminatory.
All submissions must be completed in full and received via the entry link, accompanied by the specific entry requirements by the date specified on the Organiser’s website.
The Organiser takes no responsibility for entries that are lost, late, incomplete, damaged, defaced or mislaid.
The prize will be a trophy. There is no cash alternative.
Entrants, judges and attendees of the event consent to their image and their name being used as part of marketing and publicity materials, and published on the Organiser’s website.
The Judges’ decision is final, and the Organiser reserves the right to alter the judging panel if required without the prior notice to the Entrant.
It may be necessary for reasons beyond the Organiser’s control to change the date and/or venue of the International Women’s Podcast Awards. In this case, as much notice will be given as possible.
Each nominee agrees to provide the LPA with non-exclusive rights to use submissions either in their entirety or via clips for marketing and publicity purposes, either through the LPA’s website and social media, or other media outlets.

- Nocompetiren ninguna otra categoría. En este caso no se reembolsará el importe de la inscripción.
- Elija entreunacategoría existente.
- Elequipode LPA elegirá la categoría de participación por usted. O puedes decidir no participar por categoría sino por País u otros.
- Elcontenidodebe ser su contenido intelectual y creado por usted. El podcast puede estar disponible de forma gratuita, mediante suscripción o mediante pago.
- Sepermitey fomenta el trabajo por cuenta propia.
- Lanominaciónde su episodio favorito debe incluir la página del podcast y el enlace.
- El podcastpodráoptar como finalista en numerosas categorías. El podcast competirá en la categoría de su país de origen (el país donde se produce el podcast).

Cuota de nominación

Criterios de selección, categorías y proceso.
- Las categorías de nominación están de acuerdo con las categorías de podcasts de iTunes. Esta debería ser tu categoría principal o secundaria de iTunes.
- Si selecciona su subcategoría, su selección puede cambiarse a la categoría principal según los niveles de participación. Ver: https: latinpodcastawards.com/faq.
- Hay otras categorías como países, internacional, multinacional, bilingüe, solo en inglés, voto popular y revelación.
- Categorías. Cada IPcalificará cada podcast en una escala del uno al diez según los siguientes criterios:
- Audio. Claridad de audio, niveles de audio consistentes,
- Contenido. La originalidad del contenido y la singularidad del contenido.
- Entrega. Un mensaje coherente y una gestión del tiempo informativo. Está relacionado con su categoría.
- Producción. Editado o no. Que bien montado.
- Articulación. Variación de tono, proyección de voz, uso de pausas, variación de longitud de frase, variación de velocidad y si refleja confianza o seguridad en uno mismo.
Proceso de evaluación
- LPA recogerá los votos de todos los jueces. El podcast con mayor puntuación en cada categoría será declarado ganador. En caso de empate, LPA utilizará la calificación de su página de podcast como criterio de desempate, en una escala de uno a tres, siendo tres el mejor.
- Restricciones En el caso de que un país específico tenga numerosas presentaciones de podcasts, la LPA se reservará el derecho de declarar un ganador por país cuando sea posible, según el proceso antes mencionado.
Ceremonia de la LPA
1. Ceremonia de Premiación- Los ganadores de LPA serán presentados durante una ceremonia de premiación producida en video y/o audio y transmitida por Internet (OTT). Los ganadores deberán pronunciar un discurso de aceptación durante la ceremonia mediante video o audio de no más de 30 segundos. Se mostrarán los podcasts de los finalistas y de todos los nominados.
2. Premios. Los ganadores del Premio Latín Podcast recibirán un trofeo (premios). Los premios se pueden enviar a un embajador de la LPA en su país para su distribución. Se puede enviar a su dirección por correo de EE. UU. y tienes la opción de recogerlo en persona en los estudios de Audio Dice Network en EE. UU.
Nota: Nos reservamos el derecho de revocar un ganador y/o no enviar trofeos/camisetas a los ganadores que no envíen discursos de aceptación. Asegura tu dirección postal completa para enviar tu premio y camisetas: ¡Ojo y escríbela como debe aparecer en el paquete!
